Blues on Belgrade

The first event on Belgrade, by Business on Belgrade, was Blues on Belgrade. Blues started in 2009. It was originally held in a gravel parking lot behind the Circle Inn where the Marigold building now sits. The hope and dream was that this would be a community event and an opportunity for all businesses on Belgrade Avenue to be involved. Blues on Belgrade was an instant hit! In 2010, it was moved to the east end of Belgrade Avenue. In 2011, as the event grew the stage was re-located to the intersection of Range and Belgrade. In 2012, the Belgrade Avenue Blues and Jazz Festival became the Blues on Belgrade Concert. We do love our alliteration so Blues on Belgrade aligned with Business on Belgrade (B.O.B) thus the other names for events fell into place. This event is held in July, is free of charge and is filled with family, friends and good times. Local and national bands play during the day and and continue through the night. Local businesses are the vendors and committee for helping the day to be the best it can be. This event has grown tremendously over the years and has helped to bring people into beautiful lower north.

Bier on Belgrade

Bier on Belgrade is our version of German heritage and fun. Bier kicked off in 2012 and has grow ever since! We have continued to add games, food, beer samples and people. Attendees are encouraged to dress in "Oktoberfest" attire and be ready to have fun while listening to music and drinking bier.  This event is held the last Saturday of September. This one is a 21+ event.

Bookin’ on Belgrade

Bookin’ on Belgrade started in 2013 and promotes public health and wellness in our community. It is a ‘nearly 5k’ family fun run and walk that also promotes our local Taylor Library. Bookin’ is a wonderful community event and allows people enjoy the scenery of beautiful lower north. Bookin’ on Belgrade kicks off the summer events and is held in May.

Bells on Belgrade

Bells is for the kids and those of us that are kids at heart! Bells on Belgrade is one of our newest events and was started in 2014. Our goal is to bring the community and kids together for the holidays and making wonderful family memories. There are trolley rides, reindeer games, carolers, hot chocolate to warm you up, goodies bags and Santa. In 2015, we added a parade that started after the sun went down. Floats are decorated with lights and all have different themes.
